JOB BRIEF

Love accounting but looking for a new way to use your accounting experience and knowledge?   The Accounting Support Specialist serves as an important primary support liaison between the company and the customer and is responsible for resolving complex customer-related software issues associated with the use of Greenslate's corporate and production accounting software solutions. If you are bored with the typical repetitive accounting cycle you may be the ideal candidate to join our team.  This is the job where you use your accounting knowledge to make a difference in the film and television industry.

What you will do

  • Work directly with clients to answer their accounting and other software support questions, via phone, email or chat.
  • Complete software project setups and modifications as required.
  • Assist with major client conversions and implementations.
  • Use reporting tools, and Excel to analyze underlying data and resolve complex reconciliation issues.
  • Assist development with QA and feature design.
  • Utilize Freshdesk helpdesk software to log support calls and resolutions.
  • Train clients and other support team members in accounting principles.

 

Who you are

  • Business or Accounting college degree, and a minimum of three years' experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical orientation with the ability to identify root cause of issues, develop recommendations and influence others.
  • A natural project and task manager for planning/driving varied client associated projects.
  • Able to deal with high volumes and work under pressure.
  • Has a love a technology and possesses technical aptitude and skills
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator. Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably. Effectively presents and explains information to various group sizes and levels of knowledge.
  • Ability to work within the coverage requirements of the Support team, including on-call rotation.
  • Driven, friendly, approachable team player.
