At GreenSlate, we make our clients' needs a priority, knowing that our customer service sets us apart from our competitors.  We're looking for an outgoing individual with a passion for technology and desire to provide an exceptional level of service to join our growing support team.  As the application support specialist, you'll be responsible for answering clients' requests, while maintaining a sense of empathy to the client's needs and providing them with a friendly, positive and knowledgeable experience.  The goal is to ensure that all users of the company software and hardware have the information and tools they need, and the knowledge to use it.

What you will do

  • Answer incoming support calls, emails and chats
  • Complete software project setups and modifications as required by the client
  • Assist with QA testing of new software releases
  • Transfer/escalate issues to other team members as required
  • Utilize Freshdesk helpdesk software to log tickets and resolutions
  • Maintain company user and project database
  • Submit software development requests and bugs to development on behalf of users
  • Assist with planning and coordinating user communications as necessary


Who you are

  • The ability to deal with high volumes and work under pressure
  • A desire to find the solution, not just finish the task
  • Enthusiastic attitude about providing superior customer service
  • Excitement to learn the ins and outs of GreenSlate software platforms
  • Experience supporting accounting or other business operations software
  • Experience with personal computer and printer desktop support
  • Knowledge of production accounting basics a plus!
  • Excellent listening and communications skills
  • Focused and detail orientated
