Head of Accountant Placement & Relations

JOB BRIEF

This role requires an experienced and well-organized individual to develop relationships with top-tier production accountants and support their careers by placing them on productions that fit their experience and skill. This candidate will bring together accountants who work with current and potential GreenSlate clients seeking staff. This service feeds directly into GreenSlate's payroll and software business providing a one-stop shop for all our client's needs.

The goal for this position is to become the first call for anyone in need of an accountant and be the best at matching the talent with the project. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop a strong knowledge of payroll and production. We are seeking an energetic, passionate person with a strong work ethic, an exploratory nature, great organizational skills, and ability to multitask.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU

What you will do

Accountant Placement

  • Provide consistent outreach to accountants specifically to secure their next show and share upcoming jobs
  • Manage requests for accounting staff from independents, studios, producers, and other accountants
  • Determine viable accountant candidates for placement to upcoming client jobs
  • Communicate with accountants to confirm availability
  • Maintain updated resumes and submit to requestors
  • Create, maintain and improve upon an accountant database in GreenSlate's CRM (HubSpot) with information from new and existing contacts
  • Regularly review lead/contact data in HubSpot for accuracy and thoroughness
  • Utilize payroll system to update status and track accountants
  • Partner with the sales team to understand deal needs/opportunities and accountant recommendations/placement
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with regular, meaningful contact and support
  • Be responsive, and build a reputation with clients for fast and thorough answers
  • Build relationships with local accountant unions to aid in staffing securing availability lists, emailing members, and coordinating events with marketing
  • Respond to concerns from customers and bring to resolution through interactions with department heads

Accountant Relationship Building & Education

  • Foster new and existing client relationships via phone, text, email, and in-person events
  • Educate as many accountants as possible on GreenSlate software and how we help productions via software demonstrations, etc.
  • Define priority clients and accountants and allocate time-based on potential ROI
  • Participate as needed in demos/training sessions for new clients/relationships
  • Create opportunities to help accountants and clients feel heard and welcomed (online private groups, meet and greets, cocktail events, and in-person training)
  • Utilize social media to promote GreenSlate and engage with accountants, prospects, and existing client base
  • Possible travel within the greater NY & LA areas and other cities fostering relationships with GreenSlate team members, accountants, clients, etc.
  • Production Company & New Project Research (i.e., review prior client slates, IMDB, Variety, and bi-weekly list leads; feed potential opportunities to sales team)
  • Establish goals and KPIs (# of demos, meetings, digital adoption) for Accountant leads

Accountant Consultant Program

  • Design and manage the GreenSlate accountant consulting and advocacy program. Identify and hire accountants to review our software, test, and report on functionality. These individuals should be recruited based on their experience with studio accounts we are trying to grow.
  • Gather and share accountant feedback
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of GreenSlate's software capabilities
